Nice looking unit, fits the price bracket. Not too difficult to install. Looks good for not too much money. A few defects I'd like to add: the toilet seat, although we fitted it very well and tight, has movement so every time you sit on it, it slightly moves. Seems impossible to achieve a solid fit. So that's annoying. The second fault is that after fitting the basin on top of the unit, theres a 10mm gap underneath the sink, way too big to properly silicon it. As the basin comes with the unit, it should have been a tight enough fit. So that's a defect unfortunately. 3rd issue- we bought it with the waterfall tap, and the tap is perfect 90 degrees- sounds good? No, it should have been 89 degrees, to allow the water to run off it after closing. With 90° that doesn't happen and there's water sitting in the tap. As we are in the south, I assume that within a few days we are going to have limescale build up. And might need to return the tap for an exchange, as it shouldn't be like that. Last defect to point out- the click plug in the sink seems to sit very high (about 10mm above the hole) with no way of adjusting/screwing it lower. So, although happy with the vanity for affordable price, we are expecting issues to arise pretty soon .

Just the job

I separated these and they looked just as good. Easy build and fit, the only thing I would say is that the flush isn't as 'full on' as my 1950s toilet I took out. A smaller tank I'm guessing as a way of saving water means keeping button pressed for longer or more than once if needed. All in all packed well and no complaints, as got a Saturday delivery and so fitted round work.

Could the side of the WC unit be cut to allow a left-hand soil waste connection to be attached from the back of the toilet to the soil pipe.

Hi Chris, The side of this Cove Vanity Unit can be cut to connect the soil extraction to the left or right. We recommend all cuts are sealed afterwards to prevent water entering the wood. Hope this helps! Shaun
