how does the thermostatic bar attached to the wall and not just to the water pipes. there are no wall fixings

Hi Bee. The bar attaches to the pipes in the wall, we recommend a fast fix kit to make the process quick and easy. It then also connects to the wall midway up the shower, you'll see the wall bracket just behind the smaller shower handset. Hope this helps
