Very disappointing – constantly moves

I’m really disappointed with this toilet seat. It looks fine when first fitted, but unfortunately it is absolutely useless in practice. The seat moves all over the place every time you sit on it. I have tightened the fixings as much as physically possible, but it still won’t stay securely in position. Every time you sit down or get up, the seat shifts from side to side, which is extremely frustrating and makes it feel cheap and poorly designed. A toilet seat should be secure and stable once fitted correctly. Unfortunately, this one simply isn’t. I would not recommend it and certainly wouldn’t buy it again.

Good toilet seat, but terrible value for money

This toilet seat only last for around 4/5 years, as the chrome plating is of poor quality, as are the plastic bumpers. I think the appearance is initially good when first installed, but for the price it very expensive for a toilet seat that is not made to last. I would buy another but it is the only one that fits the strangely shaped toilet (also from VP). Would recommend to not buy and to find an alternative if possible.

It was a lot glossier than we had originally thought.. We were really after a more matt finish. Installation was easy, once we worked out where to rest the seat on the toilet. First attempt at installation meant that seat kept off falling of the toilet when you sat on it. 2nd attempt, Moved it forward so that the rubber stops actually rested on the toilet squarely. Installation was easy and did not involve having to go under the toilet to screw in wingnuts as in previous seats. All Screws and pins where accessed from the top..

Very disappointed

The item was obviously a returned item. Pity it was not properly cleaned. Quite disgusting. I could not afford to have the plumber to come back and uninstall and reinstall a clean (and new) toilet seat so with much upset I scrubbed it clean myself. Obviously compromised the finish. But that’s my loss. Will not be back. Very, very upset.
