Made from satin white MDF with brushed chrome hinges, this 354mm wide classic style quick release toilet seat combines a traditional design with practical touches. A handy quick release button swiftly removes the seat from the hinges making the job of cleaning much easier. And there's even a soft close mechanism on both the seat and the lid to prevent any sudden slams.

Toilet seat

It was a lot glossier than we had originally thought.. We were really after a more matt finish. Installation was easy, once we worked out where to rest the seat on the toilet. First attempt at installation meant that seat kept off falling of the toilet when you sat on it. 2nd attempt, Moved it forward so that the rubber stops actually rested on the toilet squarely. Installation was easy and did not involve having to go under the toilet to screw in wingnuts as in previous seats. All Screws and pins where accessed from the top..

Very disappointed

The item was obviously a returned item. Pity it was not properly cleaned. Quite disgusting. I could not afford to have the plumber to come back and uninstall and reinstall a clean (and new) toilet seat so with much upset I scrubbed it clean myself. Obviously compromised the finish. But that’s my loss. Will not be back. Very, very upset.

Not Impressed

Recently purchased and installed this seat. Whilst the pillars fixed firmly into place, the cheap looking hinge mechanism seems poorly engineered resulting in a lot of side to side movement, which is made more pronounced by slippage due to the seat buffers being a hard white plastic rather than a non slip rubber. The paint finish as alluded to in other reviews seem very thin, almost as if its only been given an undercoat. All in all a disappointment.

Nice Looking, but Worth Avoiding

Unfortunately this is the second seat we have had for this product, Seat 1 lifted and bulged where water got into the seams along the underside of the seat. Replacement sent as within warranty. Seat 2: 14 months old, the chrome metal work cracked when opening the seat and is no longer in warranty. Nice looking, functions well, but ultimately has many design flaws.
