Gravity Fed Systems:

Great shower Valve
Looks good and improvement on my previous valve

Victoria Saunders - verified purchaser

Failed after 1 year
I purchased three of these valves, I've already changed one to a different valve as the cartridge was only supplying luke warm water, another one is really stiff to move and I aticipate changing that for another valve soon. These look lovely but the reality is they are a high maintenance product which fail quite quickly.

Gareth Owen from Cardiff

Experience with Chatsworth shower valve
Previous valve was a TRAFALGAR type this valve had been fitted as a replacement for an original valve that had been in service for 10 years but became stiff to operate and did not control water flow. Valve was partially blocked with a white deposit. Associated BAXI tank ( source of debris replaced ) CHATSWORTH 1928 fitted and all is well.

Overall, does the job
It's not cheap but it's a decent unit, well packaged and delivered quickly (for an additional fee). White labels with the text on the front are a little cheap looking and part of the valve felt slightly loose to me, but very easy to fit and overall does the job.

Replacement Shower Valve
Excellent service. Good pricing. The shower valve I selected is by far the best I have had.

Suzanne Green from Wilts - verified purchaser

I received my Chatsworth Shower valve yesterday. It is to replace an existing shower (almost identical), but the change needed to have a bottom shower hose outlet instead of top exit hard pipe riser
Is not straight forward, and not properly described in the instructions, which is poor. You need both 10mm and 14mm hex Allen Keys to exchange the top & bottom connections (not stated in info). Also, the top pipe connection appears to be a25mm male thread, so this cannot be installed beneath to suit a standard shower hose, which is a 1/2” BSP female thread. Therefore I must strip down my original shower, and cannibalise for the original connection piece. This was supposed to be a straight interchange, swapping old for new. The information is poor and disappointing, though the product appears to be of good quality, and I look forward to eventually installing it, once I receive the additional Allen keys that I have had to order elsewhere as a consequence.

Very Happy
Fabulous delivery, arrived next day, so very pleased 😊 Looks a quality item, very happy with it in all respects and it works well, apart from for some reason the white handle that points down does not go all the way down to the bottom so hangs at a bit of an angle 🙄

Traditional Victorian Style Shower Valve
Arrived quickly and as described. Looks elegant in our Victorian style bathroom.

Carol Sharpe from Derbyshire - verified purchaser

All good so far but a nightmare to change the hose connection
It seems like a great bit of kit now that it's working, but it requires 10mm and 12mm Allen keys if you want to put the shower hose connector on the bottom and these aren't supplied. Was a pain trying to find anywhere that had such unusually large size Allen keys - but it was easy enough to change once we had them.
