Pretty Disappointed

I just bought the black shower curtain rail and matching support arm. In the image it looks like it neatly attaches to the shower rail but once I installed it the supporting joint to the pole it looks very bulky side on and is quite unsightly. and very plastic too which makes it look cheap. I’m quite disappointed but unfortunately there are no other options for a support arm in black and I needed to get the pole installed so we could have a shower. Personally I wouldn’t buy.
