Acrylic Baths

Acrylic baths are lightweight, warm to the touch and available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. As acrylic can be moulded easily, it is used for straight, freestanding, corner, slipper and shower baths. Its lower weight can also make handling and installation simpler than with heavier materials such as steel or cast iron.

Acrylic has a smooth, non-porous surface that is straightforward to keep clean. Wipe your acrylic bath regularly with warm water, a soft cloth and a mild bathroom cleaner, avoiding abrasive products that may mark the finish. Acrylic also retains heat well, helping bathwater stay comfortable for longer, while its colour remains consistent throughout the material.

Reinforced acrylic baths include extra layers of fibreglass, resin or supporting framework to improve strength, rigidity and stability. They are generally thicker and heavier than standard acrylic models, making them a strong choice for busy bathrooms and frequent use.
