Alaska Luxury Round Soft Close Toilet Seat

Ordered a toilet seat, arrived within a few days but upon opening saw toilet seat had a crack in it. Item packaging was sound, cannot fault this and was simply unfortunate that it had been cracked. Contacted Victorian Plumbing and reported issue. Was called the following day and replacement was sent out immediately and received 2 days later. Great service from start to finish.

1st class in every way

The seat appears to be of wood quality but the plastics lugs which fit into the holes on the seat had to be separated in order to fit them and the instructions could be clearer. Secondly the chrome covers are a very very tight fit me would not come off once fitted which resulted in me having to source replacement fittings,

It is installed and works well but I had minor difficulty installing it because the holes in the toilet were too small to admit the fitting. Problem resolved by separating the upper and lower parts of the plastic plug and removing protuberances from the lower half before fitting it from below. Perhaps your instructions could anticipate this.

A good quality product with a straightforward fitting system, requiring no contortions to fix in place.

Very good quality and efficient service

It's fine. It's a toilet seat. A bit irritating that when you drop the soft-close seat it drags the lid with it. This makes 'reconfiguring' the toilet a bit more of a hassle than it should be - particularly when the instructions tell you to refrain from forcibly overriding the soft-close mechanism for fear of damaging it.
