An essential for any bathroom remodel, this High Flow Shower Waste Trap fits into standard-sized shower trays with 40mm waste pipes to drain away dirty water. A quick-release inner unit makes this 90mm fast-flow shower waste easy to maintain, clean, and unclog, while the special design lets water flow away at more than 32 litres per minute. The polished chrome-plated plastic cover is understated and an ideal companion for modern bathrooms.

I have an Eastbrook 4.1005 Mega Flow which needs a new Chrome top disc. Is your waste the same as the 4.1005? i.e. is it an identical replacement??

This was fitted by a plumber - we know how to get it out to be able to clean the white cup inside but how do you get the chrome bit off so that you can clean inside that bit as well?

Does this work on flat showers and if so do you need a u bend?

Hi Andy, Providing you have sufficient space below the shower tray to accommodate the waste you would not need a "U Bend" as this has a built in trap. Thanks. Technical Team.

Can I remove the offset and connect straight to the first connection at the trap using its compression fitting straight onto the waste pipe.

Hi Chuck, You can attempt to do that but you may need a straight connector to replace the offset fitting, this is available from a range called McAlpine Fittings which we stock. Thanks. Technical Team.

Shower tray is 3.5mm thick enamel steel with a 52mm diameter hole to fit the waste into. Please can you tell me if this waste will fit the thickness of the shower tray, and also does it have a lift out 'hair- catcher' trap cup. Thanks Cath

does this trap come with a straight fitting rather than a 45 don t know if a 45 will work for me very tight area
