Problem Solved

We got this to replace a seven year old close-coupled WC where condensation on the outside of the ceramic cistern was a constant problem in winter. It looks much better and has completely solved the condensation problem after wrapping the plastic cistern in 3mm thick sticky backed neoprene rubber which is warm to the touch and of course all hidden inside the unit. The cistern is a top fill one so I had to buy a 500mm flexi hose with a 90 degree end connector on one end.

Looks great once installed, but let down by the supplied cistern, which has a side fill which due to space you need to use a 90 degree elbow. this should be supplied or better still supply a bottom fill

Easy to fit as a DIYer although the inlet pipe feed was rather close to the side which made fitting the cold feed elbow tight. But it all went together with no leaks, first time. And most importantly the flush is really good. (Effective in clearing the pan).

How do yu gain access to the cistern once evrything is installed, does the top lift off or slide out, fr maintenance pruposes

Hello, Thank you for your question. Yes, this would be fine. The most common use of this item is for rear exit waste pipe. If your waste pipe is going left or right the unit can be amended by the installer to allow this. Kind Regards.
