Bear in Mind This Is a “Weighted Hose” Installation

I bought this tap to replace a similar tap. It looks great, seems well built. Unfortunately it is not mentioned in the product description that this is a "weighted hose installation", meaning that the hose is kept retracted by applying a "weight" to the pipe under the sink. This requires space for the pipes under the sink which my installation didn't have, and it therefore doesn't retract well and spring back on use which defeats the object of it, so unfortunately isn't fit for use which was a shame as otherwise it looks great.
