Hudson Reed Chrome Extended Retainer Bath Waste with Overflow

Very good description and value for money and came with easy to follow instructions.

The screw that holds the bit in the bath to the connection under the bath on this item is retained by a screw thread held in place by cheap plastic arms. The slightest application of torque on the retaining screw will snap the plastic arms thus rendering the whole waste useless, as the top is no longer connected to the bottom. Fortunately I noticed this when cleaning the bath, which in itself caused a small flood under the bath. I can only imagine the disaster that would've occurred had I actually run a bath and then pulled the plug out... several gallons of water straight down into my kitchen. This is a piece of cheap plastic rubbish and is designed to fail so I wouldn't want another one. I've sentit back in bits with this letter to Victoria Plumb in the hopes they can come up with some thing better
