Black Towel Radiators

Are black towel radiators good at heating bathrooms?

Yes, black towel radiators can provide effective heating as well as a practical place to hang and warm your towels. The amount of heat produced depends on the radiator’s size, design and BTU output rather than its colour.

When choosing a black towel radiator, check its BTU rating against the amount of heat your bathroom needs to get warm. Check out our BTU guide on the blog to help you work this out.

Are black towel radiators suitable for small bathrooms?

Yes, our black towel radiators come in various shapes and sizes, including compact designs which are perfect for smaller bathrooms.

When space is limited, compare the radiator’s dimensions with your available wall space, while making sure it still provides enough heat for the room.

What size black towel radiator do I need?

Take the same approach that you would when measuring for any type of radiator or heated towel rail.

Measure your available wall space and calculate the level of heat your bathroom needs. Then check the BTU output of the black towel radiator you like to make sure the model can heat the room effectively.

Do black towel radiators come with fittings?

This varies between models, so check the individual product details before ordering. Some black towel radiators may require you to purchase valves, sleeves or other fittings separately.

When it comes to valves, consider where your pipework enters the radiator. Whether your pipes come through the floor or wall can affect which type of radiator valves and connections you need. We have a full range of black radiator valves to help you create a coordinated yet functional finish.

What styles of black towel radiators are available?

Black towel radiators come in a variety of designs, sizes and shapes, from simple ladder-style rails to more contemporary and distinctive designer options.

Once you’ve confirmed your measurements and required BTU output, you can find your perfect black towel radiator to suit your bathroom.

A black finish is perfect for complementing a range of modern bathroom styles, particularly when paired with matching black brassware and accessories.
