Hello, Thank you for your question. We would not recommend this waste. Abacus also supplies the recommended waste for this item. /orion-screw-lock-shower-waste This is a high flow waste trap 40l/min Kind Regards.

Is there a need for a U-bend, or can this be directly connected to the waste drainage?

What is the depth (thickness) of the square section of the square body? ie how proud of the base floor will this lie
