Positive head pumps DO work!

The description of this product says "Positive (head) pumps will not work. I asked Victorian Plumbing for clarification (why?) but never received a reply. I have a traditional gravity fed hot water system with a tank in the loft feeding the hot water cylinder. There's enough head in the system for a positive head pump to work properly and it does. It works perfectly with this shower valve, why wouldn't it?
