Essential Care of Your Unit:

To protect your macerator from both lime scale deposits and waste residue we recommend that you use a suitable Cleanser / Descaler. First, Disconnect the macerator power supply and pour an amount of cleanser into the pan. Leave it to stand for 1-2 hours before reconnecting the macerator power supply. Finally, Rinse by operating the flushing system twice.

It is recommended to carry out this operation Once every 3 months on average. However, the frequency may need to be changed depending on the hardness of the water and usage.

Review From Trustpilot
So far this is excellent. It is expensive but we had a cheaper one and it was terrible so it’s worth spending the extra money

Does the job. Hardly the most glamorous of bathroom fittings, but there you have it.

Macerator
It seems to be working well and I hope it will continue for many years! The looks don't matter as it is boxed in.

Review From Trustpilot
Quieter than the one it replaced. Also good value for money. However this unit is not really set up to be maintained. The identical (7 year old) model it replaced developed a fault with the float switch and it would not shut off. Repair/parts could only be supplied through the company i bought it from, and I could not remember that! The Chinese manufacturer was helpful but said the cost of shipping a new float switch and the cost of dismantling the unit was possibly more than a new unit? And there is no obvious way of removing the top from the unit. The bolts/screws are all welded in with plastic.

Hi Sam, I have asked the manufacturer to Email you to discussed parts etc. Thanks. Technical Team.

I recently had this Macerator fitted and there's a constant trickle of water into the pan which means the pump is triggered every 5 minutes 24/7. I've tried to adjust the ballcock but it reverts back to trickling water after a few minutes. What can I do to resolve this issue?

Asked by Dan

ANSWER

Technical Team. replied on 25th May 2021

Hi, Your ball float valve in your cistern appears to be the issue, I would look to sort that out as it is that which is causing the overflow situation which in turn triggers the macerator. Thanks. Technical Team.

We need a saniflo for just our toilet. What toilet could this go with and can it fit behind a toilet? Many thanks

Asked by Kate

ANSWER

Shaun replied on 2nd September 2019

Hi there Kate, This product will fit in our Back to Wall WC units that are deeper than 200mm, also with our low level toilets. These will also fit with close coupled toilets however you will need a void behind the toilet to house the macerator as the depth is 182mm. I hope this helps.
