"Bought this to replace just of of warranty (a year) expensive Soft Close toilet seat which had chrome hinges. Chose this 'cos didn't trust that the same wouldn't happen again and this one's hinges are plastic which is better as our cloakroom accessories are gold finish.It's a very solid loo seat, just have to remember it's not soft close!!"
