Paris Soft Close Heavyweight Toilet Seat - White

I ordered this as my existing soft close seat needed replacing. Actually paid more for this than the original and was quite disappointed with the quality - not nearly as good as what I already have. When my husband went to fit it, we discovered that there were no fittings in the box, just the seat. When I called to ask for the fittings to be sent, I was advised that this seat is now discontinued (why are you selling it in the first place!).Was finally told that there were several hinges just lying around and I would be sent some.....still waiting. Will not be using this website again!

The initial look of this product is very good, however, the hinge bolt assembly is fragile. Broke on installation. Replaced very quickly, but within 5months one of the hinge assemblies has disintegrated. Shame, good looking item at very good price, just needs better quality hinge assembly.

This seat is not only comfortable dut is also warmer ist thing in the morning compared to our original!It is a good quality unit and easy to fit! One thing to watch are the number of different sizes of seat available and after much searching found the correct width / depth at Victoria Plumbing.I was so pleased with it i ordered a spare! Very quick and easy to install. Comfortable, sturdy and quiet (no more husband dropping the seat). Also,much safer for when our Grandson visits as we were worried he would trap his fingers before! A very well priced, good value and quality. Thank you.
