Nova Frameless 1400 x 900 Sliding Door Shower Enclosure

Bought this shower cubicle well in advance of our plumber arriving as we didn't want to get caught up in delivery delays or the product not being in stock, as it had been on previous visits to the website. Easy to order, delivery excellent, all pieces present, and it looked nice - apart from when I opened the instructions and it say that if you are installing to a shower tray, you need to drill a hole in the tray to attach a bracket for the side panel. Not sure about others but I've never heard of this before - so I contacted 2 separate plumbers (both of whom I know) to ask if this is typical and if I needed a specific drill bit - both told me to send it back and not touch it! I was outside of the 30 days but VP were kind enough to extend an extra 10 days for me to send back for a refund/exchange. I then went to find a courier to take an 80kg, 2m length parcel for me and I couldn't find any company that would pick up and transport! So I'm now stuck with a shower enclosure that can't really be used. A few things to note: 1) yes, I could've looked at the instructions on the website but I didn't, and not sure anyone expects to have to drill a hole in the tray so wouldn't thin to check 2) VP have been good in their comms and support to help me when needed so this isn't a reflection on them peers (although I would encourage them to take it out of circulation as more might fall foul of this) 3) This review is mainly to advise people who like this to check the instructions to see if it'll work for their specific situation before purchasing.
