Modern Thermostatic Bath Shower Mixer Tap + Slider Shower Rail Kit

Fitted today. All seems ok in terms of the tap. Seem a solid tap and it's quite a large unit Plumber had 2 issues though. Rubber washers for taps are a bit too thick and he said when fitted they were weeping slightly, so he used his own washers instead which were a bit thinner but worked better. Secondly, the hose. I should have noticed. Its only 1.25m long so unless you're 3 foot 2 on stilts or waste height to a wombat, you aren't going to be able to use this to shower whilst standing, so I've got to go out and buy a new hose to use it. Probably need a 2m one to do the trick. Not sure why such a small hose but I guess I got it on offer so, it is what it is. Cater £10 for another hose if you want to stand under this.

I purchased this shower to replace an electric shower that had stopped working. I thought it was a good opportunity to buy a shower that runs off the combi-boiler as the price of electricity is so high. However my bathroom is 2 floors away from the boiler with low hot water pressure and so I was nervous that this just wouldn't cut the mustard. However, I was so wrong. The power is so much better that the previous electric shower produced. I'm buying a second one for my ensuite bathroom. I am so impressed and it will be half the price to run than my electric shower. Its a win win. Love it.
