Toreno 1700 White Offset MDF Front Bath Panel

Had to do a lot of extra work to assemble and attach this panel as the instructions are seriously lacking. Also seemed to have holes drilled in the wrong place which had to be filled, ruining the appearance a bit and the panel scratched very easily.

This side panel comes in four pieces of nice, thick solid MDF with glossy fronts. All the panels were protected by clear plastic covers and the whole package came exceptionally well wrapped. The panel itself wasn't too straightforward for me to fit as my bathroom is small and I had a sink unit in the way. I wish I had fitted it before installing the sink and toilet. Anyway, in a normal size bathroom fitting would be quite straight forward. You will need to trim (using a jigsaw) either end if the two main panels to get them to the correct length. I cut notches out of the top where the bath wooden blocks were, this gave a neat finish and means the panel offers much needed extra support to the side of the bath. I then used silicone along all the cut edges,along the floor and all other exposed sides. The end result looks very neat and is water tight. A much better alternative to the usual flimsy plastic things from B&Q, my wife is so happy that she can mop without it being 'pushed' in.
