Mira Flight Low Rectangular Shower Tray with Waste

I have bought and installed many of these particular trays, excellent product and straight forward to fit thanks to the supplied waste

Bought this Mira shower tray 1700 x 700, I am very pleased with it. There were a couple of things that could be better, one the shower did not drain away very fast, at first the plumber came and removed a plastic cup like thing and the drainage was good, also the plumber told us the cap / drainage cover just sits on the top but the instructions state it's a bayonet fitting and does not just sit loose on the top. Other than that, a great shower tray.

Only complaint I have is the fact that when you’re showering, the sink gets blocked quite easily, and I think it’s because of the chrome drain cap.

TRAY COULD DO WITH BEING A BIT DEEPER

Had a specific sized shower enclosure and this was recommended this by my professional bathroom fitter. His company use this brand of tray on a regular basis, for a slimline shower tray where pipes are underneath. The tray positioned above a tanked wooden frame housing said pipes. There is no horrible step up and over design and no awful awful riser kit. It just looks like a slimline shower base. I had ordered another brand from another supplier due to another fitter’s recommendation who let me down for the entire bathroom job, so that was sent back. Due to timings Victoria Plumbing had this Mira tray with me the next day which was amazing and didn’t delay the more Professional fitter from completing the job. Highly highly recommend.
