Can this be mounted onto the ceiling? if so what extra would i need to purchase to do so?

How is it fixed to ceiling

Hello Linda, We recommend using a ceiling arm with this head. A ceiling arm can be mounted to the ceiling using a retaining nut (usually supplied) or by using an alternative fixing like a backplate elbow secured to a baton above the ceiling to provide a safer, more secure fixing.
