Broken after 1 year and guarantee NOT 5 years

The middle section of the tap has rusted and snapped off around a year after install. The wrong replacement part was sent, and now I am being told that it is not part of the 5 year guarantee, but this section is covered for 12 months only? Ask yourself, where does it say this on the webpage??As a result, they will replace the tap, but will not pay for my bathroom to be pulled apart and the tap installed again by a plumber. This was initially installed during a refurb, but they expect me to pay for the install and tidy up. I'd avoid this item and company for obvious reasons.

It Looks Cheap and Flimsy Contrary to the Product Photos

This review is specific to the bath taps as I received it as part of a basin and bath mixer set. I had high hopes for this traditional bath mixer tap. On the pictures it looks too quality and wanted it to go with my other traditional tap purchases from Victorian Plumbing - but I am very disappointed. The finish / thickness and feel of the parts is miles away from that of the Bristans - the hot / cold labels look cheap and the handle that switches between tap and shower is really flimsy. Not impressed, should have gone for pretty much anything else.

Would it be possible to fit these taps with a Beaumont rigid riser?

Hi Matt, the Lancaster Shower Mixer Kit would be compatible with a rigid riser but you would lose the handset and flexi hose as the rise would need to be attached to the thread. I hope this helps, thanks!
