Didn't last

Bought just over two years ago. The top surface of the plunger has corroded right through so that soap is now coming out of the top. Upon enquiring was told only happens with harsh chemicals. We don't use harsh chemicals and chrome finish everywhere else was fine. I can only assume it's corroded through from the inside. Shame as nice product if it hadn't completely failed.
