hib. Theme 100 LED Ambient Round Mirror

The mirror was delivered in pristine condition and in record time by Victorian Plumbing, 5 stars. I chose a LED mirror primarily for the demister function in the hopes it will delay the edge rusting which seems to afflict all mirrors after a few years bathroom use. I chose the indirect diffuse lighting type so it could be used to provide low-level night-light since our main LED lighting is undimmable. The Hib theme 100 seemed like the best value option at this size. Overall I’m happy with the mirror which looks fantastic and gives a very nice bright reflection. However there were a couple of annoyances: 1)The on/off button is not illuminated so you can’t see it to turn on the mirror in the dark - which rather defeats one of the aims of my purchase. 2) I don’t like to see LED dots so hoped these would not be visible on the Theme100 which uses indirect back lighting bounced off the wall. However unfortunately the LED dots ARE visible at the edge of the mirror since the glass acts as a lens which refracts a direct image of the LED strip towards the viewer. I will be looking at adding some kind of diffuser tube to go over the LEDs to eliminate the dots. It would be nice if HIB included this in their design - since many competitors include a diffuser strip to eliminate the dots.
