it looks the part but tricky for hardwater areas

We had this installed and 2 years later the plumber came to look at it as it was stiff. The cartridge was completely built up with lime-scaled and totally impossible to remove. Thankfully, VP kindly replaced the entire unit and we aim to descale to cartridge every few months - now here's the problem... trying to find a wrench to successfully remove the cartridge is proving insanely difficulty. My partner has ordered 5 different wrenches and none fit!! we have now ordered one from Germany to see if it fits. The cartridge is set back within the central circle and and SO difficult to get to. The search continues...

Better packaging needed

Finish and quality of the tap is great and a big improvement over the B&Q mixer tap it was replacing. However the tap had a faulty cartridge and wouldn't fully turn off and a screw was missing for the tap handle. Customer support was sluggish taking a week to pick up my issue, but then responded very well. A replacement came, but had the tap handle snapped off - luckily this didn't matter as I could use the other one. All good in the end. Only gripe over the design of the shower head, which is at an angle, so awkward to wash your hair. Why it's not just straight I don't know!

Looks good but missing parts and dripping!

I've raised a ticket for the dripping tap - most frustrating as I am wasting hot water till I can get it resolved, I also hear it all night :-( I will update this review according to the response. The missing part was a screw to hold on the shower tap. It looks nice and the chrome finish looks great, and the thermostat was effective, though not hot enough for a bath, so had to 'override' it. Easy enough to do, so no complaints.

Reduced the Hot Water Pressure

I can’t fathom why, but with this tap the water pressure on the hot water is significantly reduced compared to our old one, and far lower than any other tap in the house.
