Mapei Silicone

Mapei produces a range of high-quality silicone sealants, such as Mapesil AC and Mapesil LM, primarily used in tiling, construction, and general sealing applications. These are typically 100% silicone formulations, known for their excellent flexibility, strong adhesion to various substrates like glass and ceramic, and durability. Many Mapei silicones, such as Mapesil AC, are also treated with BioBlock® technology to be resistant to mould and mildew, making them ideal for use in wet areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and swimming pools. They are often color-matched to Mapei's grout lines, ensuring a cohesive and professional finish for joint and change-of-plane sealing.
