Nice tap, bracket could be simpler

Nice tap, and with cabinets over the kitchen sink it was one of the few which I could find online that was short enough to fit comfortably underneath. My gripe was with the fitting bracket, which is less user friendly than most I've tackled (including the old tap which I removed in a few minutes). I went to three plumbers' outlets hoping to buy a box spanner to tighten the nut underneath - none of them stocked one in the size required. I had to cut away the cupboard under the sink to get my hand in to place the nut on the thread, and then made up a tool to tighten it. A quick job became a long job - a pity, because the tap is well priced and looks good.

The tap that i purchased is great. However, on installation there was a leek..... Tap off, Tap on and so forth.... On further investigation and dissemble of the mixing unit and cartridge is was apparent that it had not been assembled correctly causing malfunction. Once corrected and reinstalled the tap seems to be working ok.

I wouldn’t purchase this tap if your wanting to use it as a normal tap it only has 3-1/2 inches of clearance from the work top which makes it difficult for filling the kettle and pans unless you put them in the sink looks nice though and easy to install

This is just a flexi hose tap rather than a pull out tap. The instructions included in the product description are for a different set of taps. Lovely taps but not as described.
