Bleed Valves & Blanking Plugs

Radiator bleed valves let you release air that has collected inside a radiator. If the top of your radiator stays cold while the bottom heats up, trapped air can be one possible cause. Our range includes manual bleed valves as well as selected automatic air vents for compatible radiators.

Radiator blanking plugs are used to close unused threaded openings in compatible radiators. Many options combine a bleed valve and blanking plug as a matching pair, while individual blanking plugs are also available. Check the thread size and radiator specifications before choosing a replacement.

These small heating accessories are often visible, so it makes sense to coordinate them with the rest of your radiator. Choose radiator bleed valves, blanking plugs and radiator cover caps in finishes including chrome, white, black, anthracite, brass, nickel and copper to keep everything looking consistent.
