Excellent Quality and Beautiful Results
21st July 2026I’m very pleased with these PVC ceiling panels. The delivery was prompt and the panels were well packaged. They were easy to install and the finished result looks fantastic — they have completely transformed my old bathroom ceiling and made it look fresh and modern. I would definitely recommend these panels to anyone renovating a bathroom. One small tip for anyone installing them: if any expanding foam gets onto the surface of the panels during installation, clean it off immediately. In my case, I left it until the next day and unfortunately it could no longer be removed completely. This was due to my own installation mistake, so I would advise others to be careful and clean any foam off straight away. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and the final result.

FAQ's
Choosing how to style your bathroom walls can feel like a big decision but we’ve got you covered. Shower wall panels are a great way to give your space that luxury feel without the fuss. In this section, we’ll break down the benefits, explore the different types and help you find the perfect panels to boss your bathroom.
What are the benefits of having shower panels?
Shower wall panels give you that high end look without the drama. With no grout, no mould and no scrubbing needed, shower panels are quick to fit and easy to clean. They’re 100% waterproof too, so whether you’re panelling your whole bathroom or just the shower area, you’ll get a finish that looks flawless and lasts.
Is it cheaper to tile a shower or use panels?
The short answer is that shower panels will save you a pretty penny and a lot of hassle too. While bathroom wall tiles look great, once you’ve added up the cost of the tiles themselves, plus grout, tile adhesive and labour, things start to stack up fast. On average, tiling a bathroom can come in around £110 per square metre and that’s before you even think about the time it takes to get it all done.
PVC shower panels, on the other hand, are a much more budget-friendly option. Large panels can cost as little as £50 each and, because they cover more wall space than individual tiles, you’ll need fewer materials overall. There’s no grouting involved, installation is quicker and if you’re handy with DIY, you could even fit them yourself. Even if you hire a tradesperson, the faster fitting time means lower labour costs compared to tiling.
What kind of wall panels are suitable for shower walls?
There are three main types of shower wall panels to choose from: PVC, acrylic and MDF with a laminated vinyl coating. These materials are durable, hygienic and fully waterproof.
Laminated MDF panels are often seen as the top choice. They’re solid, durable and even help with soundproofing thanks to their thickness. But every shower panel we offer meets high standards of quality, no matter the material. MDF is a great premium pick but the best option is the one that fits your space, your style and how you use your bathroom.
Do you need to waterproof behind shower wall panels?
You don't usually need to waterproof behind shower wall panels if they’re fitted properly, as high quality panels are fully waterproof on their own. That said, adding a waterproof membrane behind joints or around fittings is a smart move for extra peace of mind, especially if you’re using MDF panels, which can benefit from a little extra protection.
How long do shower wall panels last?
Shower wall panels are built to go the distance. With proper care, they can last 10 years or more, and some even come with guarantees of up to 30 years. Installation quality and materials make a difference but, when fitted right and looked after, your panels will keep your bathroom looking fresh for years to come.
Are shower wall panels easy to install?
Installing shower panels is much easier and quicker than tiling because it involves fitting large sheets rather than a lot of small tiles. However as with any bathroom DIY task, we highly recommend consulting a professional first. The most important part of installing shower panels will be creating a watertight seal!
