Deva 1 1/2" Brass Bath Waste with Overflow Assembly & Brass Plug - Gold

Great item well made and fast service, and unlike some that I have used before it seals well and keeps the water in, most important!

The plug, chain and bath fitting do not come connected as shown and the hole on the bath fitting was not drilled out. 30 seconds to sort out the problem and two minutes to cure it!

The bath waste was delivered in good time by Victoria Plumbing and felt good and solid when being inspected after arrival. The quality of the finish looks good and I hope will stay that way for many long years, the components certainly seem built to last. The one we received had angled bars into the centre of the plughole, which differs from the image on the site but which we prefer. Our only practical problem was having to saw a section off the bottom of the downpipe to allow the drain part to fit beneath our low-slung bath and not snag on the floor, so it would be important to measure the distance from the plughole opening in the bath down to floor level and work out whether a 75mm downpipe will actually fit (remember that there is a fitting attached to the bottom of it to take the water away!). One fitted, though, it looks great, and the colour complements our gold Bristan pedestal taps perfectly.
