Not sure I quite understand how the Humidstat works. Does it come on automatically when the room gets steamy. If I put above shower will it then come on when the shower gets steamy?

is this fan centrifugal and can it vent vertically onto a flat roof outlet? thanks

Thank you for your question.
I have spoken to Xpelair regarding this matter.
They have confirmed this item is not centrifugal - but that it would be able to pump vertically if the ducting was only 1 to 2 meters.
