Great Looking Toilet - Trouble With Leaking Soil Connector
The Toilet itself is amazing and looks great. Unfortunately the pipe that connects to the soil waste wasn't covered in enamel and was pitted causing the flexible connector to leak. After 2 attempts I managed to get it down to just a few drips. Eventually had to cake the connector with Plumbers gold to stop the leak.I will be purchasing a second for the cloakroom, however I will be using a Mcalpine Waste connector that comes with a Jubilee Clamp to avoid the leaky hassle I had fitting the Bathroom Toilet. Also being Closed Coupled, whilst it looks amazing when done it's a real pain working in such a confined space !!The Systern was leak free and very easy to assemble. I also suggest getting the toilet fixing kit as this finishes it off nicely with Polished Chrome Screw Caps.
