To ensure ease of fitting, these electric-only towel warmers are pre-filled with electrical inhibitor solution, which helps protect the internal walls of the radiator and also have the heating element pre-installed.

Very hot!

I bought this and had it installed. It is dangerously hot and I've just been told I need to buy a thermostatic valve and install it in order to control heat. So be warned, buy the radiator AND a thermostatic valve to install together.

Can I fit this radiator in zone 2 in my bathroom. If not is there any heating applicance (other than a fan) on the market that I can fit. I dont have central heating.

Hi Terri, it's a difficult one really, your current electric set up as well as switches etc come into play here. Electrics should be installed by a suitably qualified electrician, who will be able to advise you on safety and legal issues.

Can this be used as a stand alone towel warmer and does not have to be fitted to our central heating system as long as it is fitted with the correct electrical installations etc?

does the towel rail have a thermostat to control temperature?Also please let me have the weight of the product as I need to ship outside the Uk

the weight of this item is 15Kgs. It is not a thermostatic heating element. It is just a standard heating element which will allow you to warm that particular radiator to warm your towels if the heating is not on

Just to check, is all that needs to be done with this to fit it to the wall and wire it in?

Yes, that i correct. Fit the electric towel rail to the wall with the brackets and once wired in, ready to go.
