HOW NOISY
nice and simple to fit to many existing thermostatic rad valve, a little intrusive and many of the features you could do without. the savings so far I'm not convinced as the rooms barely get chance to heat up baring in mind the main thermostat controlling the boiler is still in the living room with non thermostatic radiator valves (I think this need some serious thought here). MY BIGGEST gripe is IT very noisy when the motor kicks in - I've lost count on how many times I've been woken up by the one in our bedroom whirring away...to the point I'm thinking of changing it back to a std valve!

Good, but with some drawbacks.
I have a number of these valves which are generally OK. However, I find that on some rads which are apt to be knocked in passing & having taken the slightest knock, they become easily dislodged. This is because they protrude about 1/2 inches from the front of the rad. Even when turned in reverse, they are still about an inch proud. This is becoming a nuisance, & with a little forethought, could have been designed to avoid this. JK.

These are a brilliant invention, as i want different temps in different rooms i can just programme each radiator individually. It was so easy to install. Just does everything automatically.
