Hi. Ive just come to fit the trap and have 32mm pipe. However it wont fit as the trap and the pipe are both 32mm. i.e. the "hole" of the trapnees to be bigger than the 32,mm pipe which has an exterior measurement of 36 mm - as does the trap. How does this work with 32mm pipe? Thanks. Steve

Hello Gus, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately not, the waste fixture side is a standard 1 1/4" and the other end is a push fit, designed to take a 32mm waste pipe. Kind Regards.

Can you explain hwo this works as a trap and how smells are stopped from coming back up?

Hi Mark, the trap comes with a flexi-hose, this is so that it can be manoeuvred behind shelves etc to meet with the waste pipe. It is recommended to put a bend in the pipe to prevent waste water/smells from being able to return. Hope this helps, thanks.
