Lovely traditional suite with traditional taps

Really pleased with suite. Just need to decide on what colour to paint the bathroom to complete the classic look Good value for money.

Value for money

This set looks good and is set at a very good price point. You will however notice the difference in cistern internal quality to the likes of a premium product. This set contains a ‘old style’ syphon which is far from sturdy and reliable compared to a modern dual flush. There is in my opinion a manufacturing error with the cistern whereby the concave cistern corners push the cistern lever over too far which impaired the flush mechanism further as it adjusts the position of the flush lever internals and prevents the syphon from working even further. You can of course replace the cistern internals and would be best to do so with a dual flush lever on cable which can be purchased for around £20-£30.

Good for the money

Very happy with the sink and toilet on looks. The fittings they come with are poor though. The taps don't extend far enough into the sink. The toilet seat is flimsy, but it does state it is plastic. The toilet flush is not very good either, its hit and miss if it works, and you have to really give it a press more than 90 degrees. I've upgraded this separately though and it works much better. Overall the main parts are great, just be prepared to spend another £100 on bits to finish it properly.
