Orion Wetroom Rectangular Shower Tray Former (End Waste - 1500 x 800 x 30mm)

Installation kit sold separately

The Orion Rectangular Shower Tray Former is ideal for creating a wetroom in a typical UK timber floor. Its slimline 30mm thickness makes it suitable for level access installation while its totally waterproof coating provides a tile ready surface. The former can be trimmed to size if needed (max 100mm) and comes with a factory sealed drain.

For installations where the shower waste must be installed above the floor the Orion Wetroom Shower Substrate must be used in conjunction and is sold separately.

How We Gather Reviews

Poor little instructions and hard to work out the lines for envelope cut of tiles

The instructions provided are very poor. It talks about the sequence on how to install the shower tray, no problems with that, but they should provide more information on the materials to be used with the tray (I.e what type or brand of adhesive to use for bonding of shower tray to plywood, such as type S2, etc). Also, do you see the lines in the picture on shower tray? The lines were supposed to be there so that you can work out the fall and cut lines for envelope cut when installing the tiles. In reality these lines are not visible and it’s almost impossible for first time DYI to work it out, it goes back to poor instructions. Just wasted about 2H on YouTube to find the correct way of working out the cut lines. Won’t be purchasing anything from them again.
