After renovating our bathroom and moving the toilet, realised it was too far from the wall to put a roll holder but it was beside the shower screen wall, and this one holds very well on it. The only comment I’d have is that it isn’t quite as chunky as I’d have liked, but functionally works well and hasn’t come off at all, and avoids permanently gluing or screwing things on.
