Monaco Close Coupled Cistern

The toilet cistern itself looks good and is well made. It was easy to fit onto the close coupled pan. However, the pull down flush handle looks cheap and is ergonomically poor. The bottom entry inlet water valve is flimsy, looks cheap and lacks sufficient water entry to afford a proper flush. To compound this, the flush siphon is of poor quality offering limited water volume on flushing. To satisfy the customer, I had to discard the filling valve and siphon and fit much better alternatives at additional coast. In short: good cistern but poor cistern inners which let down the overall experience -a plumber of multiple years' experience.

The ceramic cistern fitted perfectly and was a great price. Delivery was prompt, 3 days, and it was packaged well.
