Matrix Ultimate Walk‑In Enclosure - 10mm Glass (Includes 850mm Main Screen with 240mm Return Panel, 783mm Side Panel and 1400 x 800mm Tray)

Create a bright, open showering space that stays looking great, day after day, with the Matrix Walk‑In Shower Enclosure. This 810mm‑wide enclosure includes a rectangular shower tray, glass side panels, and chrome support bars to keep everything securely in place.

The 10mm toughened safety glass features a transparent EasyClean coating that helps repel water, soap, and limescale, making maintenance effortless. An integrated towel rail provides convenient storage, while the dedicated drying area ensures your towels stay within easy reach. Pair with the Milan Concealed Shower Package for a perfectly coordinated finish.

All 10mm walk-in units are supplied with support bars and towel rails.

Disappointed

Think carefully before buying this. Yes the frame is quality 10mm glass but the shower tray lets it down big time. I got this last year and by the time fitters came to fit it I realised how flimsy the tray is and despite buying 8 adjustable legs for it to strengthen it I’ve had to have it sealed twice as I think the glass is too heavy for the tray. There are no foot grips on tray therefore it gets very slippy and I feel it’s just dangerous. The small panel is a fixed panel which would have been better as a flipper panel as the extended bit is meant to be a drying area but that just gets in the way and is a hazard for hurting yourself. I’m not a big person or particularly heavy but I just feel this has been a disaster from the start and I’m now contemplating replacing the tray and side panel which will cost a fortune and it’s money I just don’t have but it’s really not ideal at all. It’s the only room I have for bathing as I took out my bath to replace it with this and I’m so disappointed ☹️ I think matrix have kept the cost down by putting a crappy tray with this so it’s false economy as it’s a quality frame but the above points just let it down so much ☹️

Would have been nice if on unpacking I hadn’t found one wall profile and one corner of the frame to bent. I had to fit it as I didn’t have time to wait for a replacement. Moral - check carefully on delivery although without unpacking the items looked ok

A tiny disappointment

After extensive research I’m glad I went for Matrix it’s a solid and sturdy shower frame and bars look amazing in the 1400x800mm very impressed only niggle is the shower tray, wish it was fully flat without the little edge sticking out in the centre, definitely a trip hazard! Enclosure in itself is very pretty! Compliments my Grohe shower. There was no help from Victorian Plumbing as they can apparently only advise on their own branded stuff.

Shower enclosure is excellent

Shower enclosure is excellent, the tray is not of the same standard as there is movement in it and I should have bought a stone tray. The instructions were poor to say the least, both those on line and even worse were the ones that arrived with the shower enclosure and not easy to read. I have a lovely shower fitted now which looks the business. Still not sure about how long the tray will last time will tell. Top tip read the poor instructions a few times before you open the box and then lay everything out before out start.

We bought this shower 7 years ago, in our previous house, a purchase we didn't ever regret, so much so, that we have now moved and bought the same item again! Hi, The width of the tray is 800mmm and the end screen in the picture looks the full width. The width of the shower tray will shrink after it's been overlapped with backerboard and titles. Can the end (and front screen) be adusted to compensate (made smaller, by say by 1 to 2 CM)?. Regards James.

What is the width of the walk in opening?

Can this be reversed so that the corner is on the right side and the end glass panel is on the left?
