Mapei Primer G is a ready-to-use, water-based synthetic resin primer designed to regulate absorbency and enhance adhesion on a wide range of interior surfaces. Ideal for treating gypsum-based substrates prior to tiling, smoothing, or painting, it improves the bond of cement-based adhesives, levelling compounds, and decorative finishes. Primer G also acts as an anchoring coat for sprayable plasters and helps prevent rapid water loss from subsequent layers. It can be applied to surfaces such as gypsum walls, plaster, anhydrite screeds, chipboard, cement-fibre boards, and foamed concrete, making it a versatile and reliable solution for preparing absorbent substrates in domestic or commercial settings.
