Mapei MapePave Mortar

Mapei MapePave Mortar is a pre-blended, grey bedding mortar designed for fast, low‑shrinkage installation of 20 mm porcelain and natural stone paving. Simply add 1.55–1.8 litres of water to a 25 kg bag, mix thoroughly for 5–10 minutes, and apply a 10–100 mm bed on a compacted MOT Type 1 or concrete base, using the fresh-on-fresh bond method with MapePave Slurry. Compliant with BS 7533, it achieves walkable strength in about 12 hours, grout-ready in 24 hours and fully serviceable in approx 4 days. Its controlled shrinkage, thin-bed applicability and compatibility with the full MapePave system make it suitable for internal and external use, providing an efficient, durable solution for porcelain slab installations.
