Beautiful Kitchen tap
25th March 2026The tap looks great, water flow is strong but gently as in it doesn't splash everywhere. The pull out spray works a treat for targeting specific areas, and helpful for rinsing down the sink. It's relatively expensive but worth the money - so far so good!!!

FAQ's
When purchasing a new kitchen tap, you want something efficient, reliable and practical. This makes mixer taps one of the most popular choices for kitchens. Available in a multitude of designs and styles, mixer taps are an all rounder when it comes to kitchen taps.
What is a kitchen mixer tap?
A mixer tap is a common fixture found in kitchens, allowing you to control the temperature and flow of water by combining both hot and cold water streams from a single spout. These taps usually have separate handles for hot and cold water control. Some models also include additional functionalities like a swivel or pull-out spout.
Which taps are best for the kitchen?
Each kitchen is unique and has its own practical and stylistic requirements from a kitchen tap. Luckily there is a vast range of kitchen taps available that are capable of meeting the demands of all types of households.
Boiling water taps and filter water taps are amongst the most modern and innovative kitchen taps available. Their ability to provide filtered and boiling water straight from a singular spout is a huge advantage to modern kitchens.
Pull out kitchen taps have a specialised spout that is fitted with an extendable hose. This allows you to pull the spout out and direct the flow of water more accurately. Pull-out kitchen taps are great for washing items and filling up jugs or buckets that don’t fit directly under the kitchen tap.
When it comes to personal style, most kitchen taps fall under the modern kitchen tap or traditional kitchen tap aesthetics. If you have a traditional kitchen and are looking for a tap to complete the look, there are plenty of traditional taps with an array of features. For more modern kitchens, sleek and minimal designs are also readily available with equally as many features and options.
When it comes to deciding what kitchen tap is best, it’s best to focus on the specific needs and qualities of your kitchen to decide which tap will be the best fit for you.
Are mixer tap holes a standard size?
The standard tap hole size is 35mm although kitchen taps often range from 28mm to 35mm. Most kitchen mixer taps will fit the standard 35mm size, however it’s important to double check the sizing of your tap in the instruction manual. Whilst many of our mixer taps can be fitted into a 35mm tap hole, certain brands or designs may differ.
