Grohe QuickFix Start Wall Mounted Bath Shower Mixer and Kit

We replaced our shower bar,which had become very problematic with this bath tap. We needed a mixer tap with swivel handle for ease and only bath taps seemed to have that. The tap comes out a fair bit but our shower cubicle has a fair amount of space so that's no issue. The tap is really strong build and metal innards and based on the weight I feel we got what we paid for. The plumber took no time at all installing the tap, it really was easy to fit. Changing the tap has changed how we shower. Temperature control is easy and we get the wanted temperature almost instantly. We can also close the tap during the shower to save water and don't get cold water on us when we turn the shower back on. We are saving a lot of water with this tap - previously we needed to let the water run for several minutes and couldn't turn it of during the shower. We also appreciate the hose of the shower head being smooth and not have the metal cover as lime scale is easier to clean now, should any form... Of course we need to use the knob to switch to shower but that's a small price to pay for such an increase of comfort. I really wish we had changed our tap sooner.
