Overall, as expected, I am highly satisfied with the quality of this Grohe tap. The functionality of the tap is exceptionally smooth, and based on my prior experiences, it is likely to remain so for many years. The single-tap lever is much more convenient than a two-tap lever system, I no longer need to adjust the hot and cold taps to get to the optimum temperature. Additionally, the loop design provides great clearance when washing the dishes. It is worth noting that the water pressure is slightly lower due to the installation of narrower pipes. Consequently, filling the kettle takes a little longer, but you will ultimately conserve water. Although this aspect did not particularly bother me, it is pertinent to mention it. I encounter some difficulties with the plastic fitting system during the installation process. I am uncertain whether this system represents any improvement over the traditional fittings, which raises some concerns.

I bought this to replace an old mixer tap. This particular tap is kind of mid-priced but from a well-known quality brand so I thought I'd give it a go. It looks and feels expensive. The shiny chrome finish is lustrous, the handle is very light and smooth to turn on and off and the swan neck requires very little effort to rotate. The tap has a sparkler on the end of it but it doesn't impede the flow of water like my last one did, nor does it add too much air to the flow, making washing up liquid foam up too much and difficult to wash away afterwards. I can fill the sink in half the time. However, there is a downside. The tap is described as having the Grohe 'Quick Fix Plus' system (no tools required!) But I found I needed a tap spanner to complete. Now that it's fitted, I think it looks great. It's sturdy, smooth to operate and the water flows much better than my previous taps.

Overall, the Grohe Start Loop Kitchen Deck Tap combines style and practicality, making it a good choice for anyone who wants to upgrade their tap. It works reliably and looks attractive.

Overall really pleased with the mixer. The handle is firm and we have a good mix and pressure when being used. Easy to clean with no silly edges to collect lime scale. The down side is the instructions tell you to use the wrong tools you will need a tap spanner which we had but if your just fitting yourself you may find this bit a little confusing.
