Well I was pleased with it

I bought this and a matching bath tap in 2017. The flow had been steadily reducing so thought it was just the gauze and limescale. When I attempted to remove the gauze holder the screws just fell out. The interior had completely corroded away, so not brass, and it was this debris that was restricting the flow. Approached Victorian Plumbing about obtaining spare parts, none available. As it is not possible to repair I will have to replace both taps, which apart for this one part are still in good working order, 5 year guarantee having just expired!!

I bought one of these taps in 2015 for a bathroom project. Really nice-looking, easy action, and lovely waterfall effect. Installed, it also feels pretty solid. The block that holds the 'gate' for the waterfall stream started leaking after a couple of years but reconstruction with epoxy set it right again.

Really lovely tap

Everyone comments on this tap when they use it and says how nice it is. The flow is good, plenty to wash your hands under and it comes out into the middle of the basin so you aren't banging your hands against the side. Also as a bonus, the kids can't do that thing where they press their hands over to it to make water spray everywhere when it's running, although they have all tried! I think it's pretty pricey, but worth it for how nice it is. I didn't fit it myself, so can't comment on that aspect.

Is this suitable for a bath also?

Hi Cindy, I would not recommend that you use this tap for a bath for the following reason; a normal bath tap has a 3/4" BSP feed whereas the tap in question is meant for a wash hand basin which only has a 1/2" BSP feed - thus giving a reduced flow rate. Regards. Alan.
