Ella 1400 Curved P-Bath Screen

The screen turned up safe and sound, but as for the support screws with rawl plugs I found inadequate for the weight of the screens.Also the magnetic strips and bottom seal on the glass I had to cut to length and had to modify the chrome trim to fit the glass

Negative points: The door only opens one way and that's outwards in to the bathroom, which is a problem as the hinges are not curved like the glass to you end up with the profile going from curved, straight then curved again. unfortunately this means the door wont quite close enough so the very end of the door is actually outside the bath even with the hinge strip side in as far as it can go. If the company allowed the hinge to go past 180 degrees by about another 30 degrees this might not be a problem. The main aluminium door hinge strip is too flimsy for the weight of the door and not enough fixing holes. I had to add more. Not sure how long it will be before the kids rip it off the wall as it wobbles a lot when closed. The plastic seals unbelievably need trimming . Why this isn't done in the factory who knows? Positive points: It's cheap won't break the bank and doesn't look that bad, probably be ok for a occasional use for guests.

I hunted everywhere for one to fit our bath and low ceiling. This was great because it could be fitted perfectly to shape. All it needs is a ceiling bracket to hold the door closed.

The bath screen which came with a new bath was larger than suggested and was inappropriate for that bathroom. The Victorian Plumbing Ella Curved P-Bath screen we bought to replace it - the size was exactly as described and fits perfectly. We've been using the shower over the bath for a week now and couldn't be more pleased - a great product!
