I knew exactly what I wanted and this tap was it. It is very good quality and looks great. It replaces another Hudson Reed tap that we had for 19 years.

Looks great, and an impressive 20yr warranty, however, I had to throw away the tails because as has already been noted by a previous reviewer, they don't fit inside the body. My fix was to replace the ridged tales with flexies which had smaller hexes, as well as being easier to fit. I have used now for 4 weeks and the leaver is getting unacceptably stiff. Will contact Hudson Reed to see if they have a fix for this.

The title says it all really. The only problem we had was that the holes for the brass ferule were a bit too close together which meant that they were in obstructed and wouldn't fit properly to allow the shroud on. I got round this by using a metal file to file the edges of the shroud.

This elegant tap complements our modern bathroom. Easy fit, simple and smooth action, high shine and amazing price. What's not to like :)

Wanted mixer tap with lever on the side, so our 2y old can operate by himself. Also less chance of scalding for him as he would really need to push the lever towards the wall on purpose to get so hot water.We fixed the tap with lever to the left as we thought this is more convenient... the drawback: we cannot show off with the Hudson Reed logo (its only on one side).Minor clue: tap has M12 connectors. It comes with 15mm copper pipes ended with M12 screws, instead of using them I bought M12 flexible hoses.Love the look, the height and swivel motion of the spout, the lever on the side...
